ABOUT US
Rooted in Local Knowledge, Guided by Ethics
NAL takes its name from the Maya word for maize—a symbol of life, community, and resilience. Just as maize sustains communities, our mission is to support organizations and companies in protecting human rights and promoting responsible practices across Central America.
Led by Daniel Olmedo, a human rights lawyer with extensive experience in the region, NAL combines on-the-ground knowledge with international standards to provide tailored advice and practical solutions.
